SCENES FROM SOUTH AMERICA - SERIES #20

“Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it. You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings. And once you have achieved a state of happiness, you must never become lax about maintaining it. You must make a mighty effort to keep swimming upward into that happiness forever, to stay afloat on top of it.” – Elizabeth Gilbert, Eat Pray Love

AT SEA WITH GRAND PRINCESS - MARCH 15, 2013
Tomorrow we say "ADIOS" to our beloved Princess. The Grand Princess is the beautiful ship that we sailed together around South America.  Forty nine days with the Princess was an exciting and fascinating experience. This was our first long journey on a cruise ship and will forever remember our wonderful voyage. Let me share some happy moments w/ this Princess.

Grand Princess is a Grand-class cruise ship owned by Princess Cruises. Built in 1998 by Fincantieri Cantieri Navali Italiani in Monfalcone, Italy, with hull number 5956, at a cost of approximately US$450 million. She was the largest and most expensive passenger ship ever built at the time.
