Hi everyone! Welcome to my other blog! To many of you I am an old blogger. My first art blog is named "Forever Art" - http://forever-art.blogspot.com/
My art blog is mostly about my oil paintings, travels, family, food & anything related to my art activities. After four years of blogging, my art blog had grown. I'd like to keep it exclusively for my art works. For this new blog "PAINT PRAY TRAVEL" my focus will be more on my other art activities, spiritual experiences and exciting travels. So I paint! I pray! I travel! Then I blog about it.

Painting is my first passion in life. I am alive when painting like my favorite impressionist artist, Vincent Van Gogh. His many colorful oil paintings inspired me over the years. My two sunset oil paintings are good examples of his influence on my bright & vibrant art works.
I entered the above two oil paintings & another entitled "Myra," during the Sta. Clarita Creative Guild 2009 at the Hyatt Valencia. It's a community event participated by many local artists. For complete story please go to my art blog:

I almost back out of the event because my father-in-law suddenly passed away five days prior to the art show. I decided to go on despite of the sad situation. Little did I know that my Sunset#1 oil painting would bring me the first prize throphy. It was thrilling! What if I didn't join? I would have missed the the happiness & the joy of achievement.

This beautiful bird reminds me to pray always, especially when I am in a distant country. I pray every where I go. Praying is like talkingg to a friend. God is our greatest friend. I can talk to Him anytime, what ever I am doing. Strolling on a park. Smiling at the bird. Seeing the blue sky.

TRAVEL TRAVEL TRAVEL TRAVEL

A PALM TREE WITH CARNIVAL SPIRIT- PORT OF MANZANILLO, MEXICO-2010 Traveling is one of my favorite past times. My husband I love cruising. Our latest travel adventure was an eight days Mexican Riviera cruise (Acapulco, Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo, & Manzanillo). This was our third Mexican Riviera cruise. Our latest cruise started from the Port of San Diego. We moved to San Diego and we didn't have to drive or fly. Getting to the port of embarkation was very relaxing and convenient.
