"I have crossed oceans of time to find you."

This is a NOT a fairy tale but a true story. I am an eye-witness to this breaking news as the mother of the groom.

 

"On a reddish February day, I gave birth to our youngest son, named Robin. Like me he became an artist. He creates visual arts skillfully w/ his amazing computer. While I create with fine artist brushes. We have the same passion.....to create beautiful art works no matter what the mediums are. Proudly, he became an art director at  Mirada at a young age of twenty eight. A position I coveted when I was a young working graphic artist  but never happened. Robin is the fullfillment of my dream.

 

Robin grew up w/ deep fascination for Japan - the country, the culture, the food, and the beautiful women. One day when Robin was in New York, he met a fair lady  named Lisa from the land of cherry blossoms, kimonos, samurais, sushis, arigatos, etc. She was born in Kyoto, Japan. She crossed the vast Pacific Ocean &  found her Prince Robin. Soon wedding bells were ringing  for them on September 15,2012. The parent of the bride flew all the way from Japan to attend the wedding. It was our first time to meet them on wedding day. A happy moment but awkward at the same time. They didn't speak English but we managed to communicate by smiling, nodding, signing and translating from our new daughter-in-law. After the intimate family celebration at Valentino's, next day the parent flew back home to Japan.  And Robin & Lisa lived happily ever after."
